Around the 7th century AD, when ancient folk remedies were the mainstream, foreign students and monks from China called KENZUISHI and KENTOSHI brought back the cutting-edge medicine of the time to Japan.
This triggered the dawn of full-scale, systematic medicine in Japan, and after that, the development of oriental medicine based on traditional Chinese medicine began.
In the history of 1500 years since it was imported from China, this imported medicine will undergo its own evolution and development in Japan.

In the latter half of the Edo period, Western medicine in the Netherlands landed in Japan, breathing new life into the closed medical world.
The Dutch medicine that came in came to be called "Rangaku" or "Ranpo", and the traditional Chinese medicine was also called "Chinese medicine".
Then, in 1883, the Meiji government, which promoted the spread of Western medicine, established the national qualification as a doctor in Western medicine, and Oriental medicine will transfer its leading role to Western medicine.
After that, oriental medicine will follow a long path of decline until recent reconstruction.
In this regard, traditional medicine repeats its history of declining, often influenced by the administration of the time in China.

Oriental medicine occurred in ancient China, and then spread to Japan in the mid 5th century, and then developed independently.
In Japan, it was actively conducted from the Muromachi period to the Edo period, but since the Meiji period the government adopted western medicine, especially German medicine, Oriental medicine has once declined.
After that, Oriental medicine is showing signs of resurgence again in recent years.
The reason is that side effects are less than Western medicine, and it is known that the cause is unclear symptom and it is effective for chronic diseases, Oriental medicine such as acupuncture moxibustion and traditional Chinese medicine has become attracting attention again.

These three books were created by experiencing and practicing with some foods and their specific properties to relieve or eliminate certain diseases more than two thousand years ago.
These three books become the basic theories of Chinese Medicine.

Our main working areas are hotels and homes in central Tokyo.
Reservations are accepted from 3:00 pm to 24:00 am midnight, so if you wish to make a reservation after that (limited to central Tokyo), please make a reservation by 24:00 am.
There is no transportation fee inside the JR Yamanote Line.
Transportation costs are not included on the outside (3,000 to 10,000 yen).
For reservations starting after 23:00, a late-night fee of 2,000 yen will be charged separately.
